The Process - Minting

  1. You fill out a form with the details for your coin
  2. We verify with you that all of the information is correct, because it cannot be changed once it is written to the blockchain.
  3. You pay for the service by sending SOL to the minting wallet we specify.
  4. We mint your full supply of coins and send them back to you.
At this point, your coin exists in the world and you own the full supply. It has no monetary value at this point.

Next Steps - Liquidity

Your coin does not have monetary value until it is paired with another coin in a public liquidity pool.

A liquidity pool is a smart contract consisting of a pair of tokens, used to facilitate trading on a decentralized exchange (DEX).

  • Your coin can be paired with any coin you choose, but we recommend pairing with SOL or USDC.
  • The ratio of how much of each coin you deposit into the pool will determine the starting price of your coin on the market.
  • You can deposit as much of your coin into the pool as you want to.
The coins that you fund the pool with will not be yours anymore. They will belong to the pool and then whoever trades against your pool.

Selling / Trading Your Coin

When someone wants to buy your coin, they can either go directly to the DEX website and do a swap or they can usualy buy from within their wallet app.

The wallet app searches for public pools for your coin and will give options for which pool can be traded against.

For example, if Bob wants to buy $10 worth of your coin he can initiate a swap from USDC to YOURCOIN. The DEX or wallet will tell him how much YOURCOIN will be received based on the current price. Bob can then choose to accept or cancel the transfer. A small percentage will be added on as a fee that Bob pays to the pool.
